This client, a Canadian leader in mid-market lending, needed a new website to coincide with their IPO.

Innovative marketing ideas: specialty magazines
Pyrogenesis, a high-tech innovator in industrial plasma with an international reputation for problem-solving, wanted a marketing piece they could use to catch the eye of investors. But investment firms receive a daily deluge of requests from eager entrepreneurs – so for Pyrogenisis, establishing credibility and demonstrating a viable business vision was a must.
Imaginis invented a new marketing product, a specialty ‘magazine’ that included:
- Excerpts and call-outs from a range of industry articles, with links to relevant articles. Imaginis carefully selected articles to support their story, demonstrate the potential, and show the size of the Pyrogenesis market
- Background information about Pyrogenesis
- A wealth of carefully selected imagery.
The concept worked extremely well at attracting attention and building credibility. Not only did Pyrogenesis gain considerable interest from investors, they were also able to re-purpose it as a promotions piece for new business development.
Since then, Imaginis has used this new marketing product successfully with a range of other clients.

Strategic support
Mackenzie Health, a major and growing healthcare centre, needed to build internal awareness for a major investment in new technology that affected every aspect of patient care. Imaginis was asked to brainstorm, build ideas, and earn buy-in from the leadership team and large group of internal stakeholders.
Imaginis developed an integrated package of ideas that won over stakeholders, followed by strategic and communications support. As described by Mackenzie Health’s Director of Operations below, the campaign was highly successful in winning buy-in, a kudo for Imaginis given the challenges for all involved in adapting to the new technology.
